About me
Hello!
My name is Ben Tappin and I am a web developer and tinkerer from Manchester, UK (currently living in London). I studied at the University of Leeds, School of Computing and worked at the award-winning Sense Internet and the incredibly awesome Isotoma, before moving to London to join AWAL.
If you want to say hi for any reason, you can contact me in many ways:

Skills
I'm a fan of open source technologies and prefer to make sites in Django. I'm competent with Linux and server setup and configuration. Whilst specialising in backend architecture and programming I'm also capable of semantic HTML and CSS.
About the site
This site was built using Django. I think it's about time non-PHP open source web languages/frameworks reached critical mass. I absolutely love Python and cannot understand why anyone would want to go anywhere near PHP. The source for this site is on GitHub. It runs off nginx and apache2.
The site is hosted on a Linode VPS and I like Postgres.
